Cocoa & Oat Flavored Pap Cereal

This is a twist to the regular pap cereal, but this is for kids over 12months.
It really quite simple and very delicious.

One thing to note is that I don't sieve out the chaff when making my pap cos that's most of the nutrients are in the chaff so don't sieve it.

Let’s go right into the recipe.

  • 1 cup Cooked pap (Use pap that contains the fibre)
  • 1 tablespoon Raw cocoa powder
  • Oat cookies (Homemade oat cookies)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Milk (You can use coconut or tiger nut milk, it will taste great too)
  1. Dissolve the cocoa powder with milk in a little warm water.
  2. Mill the oat cookies to powder with a dry blender or just crush to little pieces.
  3. Pour the cocoa mix into the pap, cookie powder and cinnamon and mix properly.
  4. Sweeten with honey, or date syrup if necessary.
